There are very few qualifications to run for these offices. None of the current requirements for running for President and Vice President of the United States require a criminal background check. We require background checks on regular citizens for work, Presidential and Vice Presidential positions should not be excluded, especially in such important positions.
The passing of this Petition would demand Felony Criminal Background checks on all Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates. Any candidate convicted of a Felony would immediately be disqualified to run for office of President and Vice President now and in the future. And if any candidate elected into the office of President and Vice President Commits a felony during office, will be impeached immediately.
