Require mandatory Holocaust education in all public elementary schools, high schools, and charter schools grades 6-12.

Created by G.Z. on November 12, 2013

Currently only five states in the U.S. ( CA, FL, IL, NY, and NJ), have mandatory Holocaust education in public and charter schools grades 6-12.
Holocaust and genocide education should be mandatory curriculum for all US students grades 6-12.
Classroom curriculum should include a study of the events in world history known as the Holocaust (1933 to 1945), during which 6,000,000 Jews and millions of non-Jews were exterminated at the hands of Adolf Hitler, Nazi Germany and its collaborators. The atrocities of enslavement, torture, human experimentation and life in the concentration camps should be covered, as well as the history of the US involvement in WWII, the US veterans role in the liberation, and the need for a Jewish State. Newsreels and eyewitness testimonies need to be included.
