The across the board 85 million dollar mandatory government spending cuts due to the sequester are effecting nearly every government agency. The cuts are split between both domestic and defense programs. As such, these arbitrary cuts are even impacting the strength and effectiveness of the U.S. Military.
However, these cuts do NOT effect the very people who have created them - members of Congress and the President himself.
We, the people, formerly ask, nay demand, that Congress and the President take pay cuts in alignment with those of other government organization until a formal budget is passed and signed by the President, thus ending the sequester.
