If any other hard working American showed up to work drunk, or got drunk at work, we would be required to take a drug test or be fired. The same should hold true for those we elect to represent us. They work for us. Our taxes pay their wages. We expect them to be sober while performing their job functions, as any employer would. This expectation is not unjust. The publication of these results does not violate HIPPA compliance any more than any other employer requiring a drug test. Hold our elected officials to the same standards we are held to.
