Require that media be clearly identified as news or entertainment regardless of the media with which it is presented.

Created by G.B. on December 01, 2012

As I scan through the so called news sources and pay close attention to the words they select to describe current events it is very clear that there are few sources of news. Almost every source chooses their words in an effort to bias the listener (or perhaps present it in light of those with a targeted bias) and to evoke emotion. When I pick up a box of cereal it is labeled clearly so that I know if I'm getting refined flour or whole grain. Media should be no less clearly labeled. If I then select my source of data because it has the kind of entertainment I like (right or left slanted) then I do so with my eyes wide open. If I want data to inform me rather than support my personal bias I can make that selection as well.
