require Medicare and all insurance companies to cover the cost of Nursing Homes and all medical while in a nursing home.

Of all the health care reform that has been passed there is one group of U.S. Citizens that have been left out. Those are the thousands that must enter a nursing home. When a person enters a nursing home all insurance stops paying until the patient has paid out of pocket until they have nothing left. Once a person is destitute, Medicare and/or insurance picks up the bill. It is heartless disregard for Americans that have worked their entire life and saved, bought a home, etc to be required to spend every dime earned and saved before their insurance begins paying for the nursing home confinement. I ask President Obama, our Representatives and Senators to pass laws requiring Medicare and Insurance Companies to pay for nursing home care without a person spending their life savings.
