While I understand that in order for my petition to be seriously considered, Congress would need to pass a law to make this change. However, I strongly feel that elected representatives in Congress who have a 10% approval rating don't have the luxury to not consider this proposal.
At the end of the day, the chances of something like this ever happening are very slim. But it will still be fun to hopefully show you thousands of signatures who support this measure.
