I feel that it is very odd that people we elect to represent us can choose not to read the the bill on which they are voting before voting.
This is an incredibly simple petition. Should our leaders be doing their homework, or just voting on bills? I realize many bills are long. I do not see why that should matter. This is the United States we are talking about. It's a pretty cool place, and I think our leaders should be willing to read a few hundred pages for it so that they can make sure they are doing what is best for the public.
If that is truly impossible, I would like to hear the administration's reasoning as to why it is.
