Require military and federal law enforcement to keep a copy of the Constitution when on duty as a part of their uniform.

Created by W.L. on January 10, 2013

We petition the President to order all branches of the United States Military and all federal law enforcement agencies to amend their respective uniform codes/standards/requirements to include the requirement that all members of the military and all sworn federal law enforcement officers must at all times maintain a copy of The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of The United States of America on their person. This requirement shall apply to all duty uniforms, including field and dress attire, as well as civilian attire that is worn on duty. Specifics as to precise placement of these documents for each uniform shall be determined by each branch and agency on a uniform by uniform basis. Reasonable exceptions may be made for reasons for safety.
