Require the military services to adopt a common utility uniform and do away with "vanity cam" for individual services.

The components of the DoD in the past used a common utility uniform, the woodland camouflage battle dress uniform. This provided a means of one procured uniform and a savings to the taxpayer. The individual services then each decided to move to service identity specific uniforms, some which have proven to be combat ineffective in camouflage use, at great costs to the taxpayer. The DoD needs to mandate a single common utility uniform again for all services. The services may retain identity through the use of their individual ranks and service tapes. In todays joint operational environment, there is no need to have 4 different styles of uniforms in a combat arena. Services may retain their identities through their service and dress uniforms.
