In an effort to combat the wave of petitions regarding sucession that has plagued this site for the last few days, we ask that a test of intelligence be placed upon those wishing to create such petitions. These petitions clearly turn this site from one of information, where citizens can go to have things clarified or looked at, to a gathering of irrational people looking for a place to whine. The people creating these petitions of sucession should furthermore be required to take a class on the American Civil War, regardless of whether or not they attended one during their general education.
