Require a minimum number of hours Congressmen must be in Congress and Congress must be in session

Created by T.L. on October 05, 2015

Congressmen are never actually required to attend Congress. Only a quorum (50 percent plus 1) is required to vote. Additionally Congressmen get paid over three times the average annual US salary and only average 28 hours of work a week. This petition is to create a law that sets a minimum number of hours that Congressmen must be in session and a minimum number of hours that Congress must be in session in order to produce more productivity from the legislative branch.
