As someone with Medicaid, it is almost impossible to find private doctors (especially in specialized fields) that will accept patients who have Medicaid. Even though under President Obama's Health Care Reform more people will be on Medicaid, the problem of physicians being made to accept medicaid has not been addressed. Right now, I can only find clinics (in NJ) that will accept Medicaid and the waiting lists for appointments are several months long.
