require Mortage Companies, to refinance variable rate mortages to homeowners who didn't default on their mortages

Millions of homeowners accepted variable rate mortages with the understanding that they would be able to refinance to a lower rate after a couple of years. The Mortage companies cheated us, refuse to refinance, even though our payments are paid on time. Consistently charge a higher rate than anyone who finances today. They took Billions of taxpayer dollars and the only people who benifited was their stockholders. I'm asking that since these companies took our tax dollars they should give something back, by simply allowing us to refinance at a low fixed rate. They claim they don't have the money to loan, well where did all those billions go? Plus, the money is already out there, we are simply asking for the finance charges be made more reasonable.
