Require non-prohibited persons from firearm ownership to own and carry in all public venues.

We, the undersigned, petition President Obama to require all non-prohibited classes of persons to own and carry a firearm in all public and private venues to discourage those with criminal intent from carrying out violent attacks and to forbid businesses from prohibiting these persons from entering their businesses, effectively trading "gun-free zones" for "victim-free zones". Also provide training for all persons, require annual re-certification and provide reliable firearms and a method of securing the firearm for those of lower socioeconomic classes. This would be paid for by the savings from law enforcement, prosecutions, incarcerations and medical treatment. Studies prove criminals are deterred by an armed potential victim.
