Make it so the individual police officer cannot turn off the unit at all, that it runs from the time on duty till off continuously. That the recordings be kept at a location other than the police dept., and controlled by a non police agency or in the cloud so portions cannot be erased or "lost". Any tampering of the device gets 1st offense 2 week unpaid suspension, 2nd offense dismissal. Lives depend on this we need to do it right.
