Require our government leaders to have an excellent personal credit score in order to be eligible to serve in govt.

In a nation where an individual's credit rating can be used as an objective measure of a person's financial competency, credibility, reliability, suitability for employment and trustworthiness, we should reasonably expect elected and appointed federal government officials to have a personal credit score in the range categorized as 'excellent' with at least one of the three major credit reporting agencies. Our nation's financial problems continue to worsen with no real solution in sight, and I don't think we can expect a solution from individuals that cannot keep their own financial house in order. Any elected or appointed official serving in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of federal government must have an excellent credit rating to be eligible for the office or position
