Require paid time off. There is currently NO LAW requiring paid time off for US workers.

Created by Y.H. on May 12, 2014

If we wish to be a world leader, we ask for our government to step up and fall in line with the other almost 20 leading economies which have required paid time off for their workers for many years now. Furthermore, even our best employers in the U.S. do not meet most other leading economies' MINIMUM required paid days off (averaging between 20-30 days/year). With extreme increases in costs of living and inflation issues in the last several decades requiring most families to have both parents working full time, we NEED TIME OFF to raise our children and enjoy some standard quality of life. This should be every American's right, as it is in many other developed countries around the world which most would consider less 'developed' than the U.S., but as of now, the facts prove otherwise.
