OPERATION PLOWSHARES
The Pentagon has a fiduciary responsibility to veterans returning from combat duty, to assure a safe return to civilian life by providing for comprehensive rehabilitation and normalization before discharge from military service by establishing and fully funding an OPERATION PLOWSHARES PROGRAM lasting one year before discharge from the service.

Rehabilitation and normalization activities to include, but not be limited to, programs for healing psychological wounds, re-socialization to the norms of civilian life, civilian job training, reconnecting to civilian communities through community service, using Plowshares veterans to repair America’s infrastructure, help Habitat For Humanity build houses, help build wind and solar farms, work with inner city youths, etc.
