To ensure that those with positions of authority and power over others in a community are fit for their title, I believe standard, regular examinations of mental wellness and general moral aptitude should be put in place for all of law enforcement along with city/state officials. A simple, logical requirement which would effectively enhance the legitimacy of rationality and justice within the nation.
