Often during sporting events or other large venues the National Anthem is performed. It seems to be common place for the person(s) singing to create their own lyrical pitches and variations to create their own version of The Star-Spangled Banner. This is our country's sacred song and should not be changed up by any one individual to simply flaunt their singing skills.
