Require political parties who have closed primaries to pay for those primaries without using tax payer funds.

Created by D.H. on February 19, 2016

Some state political parties have closed primaries only allowing voters who are registered in that party to vote in the primary. However, those parties pay for all or part the primary election using tax payer money. We do not object to closed primaries, only tax-payer funded closed primaries. Idaho is an example of this scenario. In recent years, the Idaho republican party closed their primary to only registered republicans and yet the state still pays for the primary.
