In 2003 Congress passed the Do-Not-Call Implementation Act, but allowed exemptions for non-profit organizations, and an exemption for political campaigns.
I'm tired of political campaigns calling me, whether a live voice or a robocall. I don't know a single person who does enjoy receiving calls from politicians, their tele-robots, or campaign workers.
With the upcoming 2016 presidential election travesty coming to a campaign trail near you, the quantity of calls and robocalls is going to be unbearable.
Please require ALL political campaigns - from the lowest community elected position to the national presidential election - to honor the wishes of the people who took the time and trouble to sign up for the Do Not Call list.
