Require politicians to take core classes such as math, economics, family finances, and debt/spending management

Politicians seem to lack a solid understanding of how spending, income, taxes, and the economy at a local and global scale works. This may be due to the fact that a great majority of politicians are lawyers, or come from liberal arts or humanities backgrounds.
A solid understanding of core sciences may promote better fiscal policies in the long run.
