The USPS is engaging in an ongoing campaign of misinformation, resulting in the public use of higher-tier, higher-margin services.
Examples:
1) Parcel post not highlighted on usps.com.
2) Parcel post shipping management not available by usps.com.
3) Post office signage only shows premium services.
The online strategies are designed to promote premium services by increasing the inconvenience of having to go to the post office.
This strategy is to the detriment of the American consumer.
Request:
1. Require the USPS to provide online management of all features that might otherwise be available in physical locations.
2. Emphasize the availability of cheaper, less expensive options.
3. Initiate a GAO investigation to uncover other actions which are hostile to the American public.
