require potential sentators & representatives to demonstrate adequate reading & math skills by passing competency tests

This petition demands that senators and representatives be required to demonstrate adequate reading and math skills to ensure the voting public that they are capable of reading and understanding the legislation that they are voting for and against. Qualifications for Congress have not been updated since the Constitution was written; minimal competency testing should be required.
