Require that the POTUS who has their finger on the nuclear trigger undergo an extensive background check. Do it for kids

In response to the presidents 23 reforms that infringe on citizens 2nd amendment rights I believe that our leaders should also be subjected to increased scrutiny. If we the people need to pass an extensive background check to obtain a small arm, shouldn't the person with their finger on the nuclear trigger be required to the same if not greater scrutiny. All records that have been sealed should be immediately released and all future presidents vetted.
