require the President and members of congress to give up their pay, instead of taking benefits of 9/11 First Responders.

We petition the Obama Administration to require the President and members of congress to completely give up their pay in lieu of cutting benefit payments to 9/11 First Responders and their families. The men and women who bravely ran toward danger when America was attacked and thousands died, should not be victims, again, of their government's inability to manage their finances. The President and members have done nothing to earn their pay. I cannot think of something a public servant could have done more to earn their pay, than to run into those buildings on that day.
