Require Proof of Citizenship or Visa from residents of "Nearby Republic of Coconut Grove" Who Wish to Enter Miami, Fla.

Created by G.S. on February 02, 2014

Recently, the Village of Coconut Grove declared independence from the rest of the City of Miami and by declaration of a Republic, perhaps the United States itself.

Their proclamation in the Miami Herald reads: “Welcome to the Nearby Republic of Coconut Grove Est. 1873.”

The self styled "Nearby Republic of Coconut Grove Est. 1873.” is 26,000 resident republic, previously constituted as a Village within the City of Miami Miami's annexed into the city in 1925 having borders of US1 & Lejeune Road on southwest, water east.

Accordingly, I request that the White House institute border controls on the periphery of this "Nearby Republic of Coconut Grove Est. 1873.”

These border control must require a Visa or Proof of Citizenship for all who wish to pass by land from the "Republic" into Miami
