require proof of citizenship before voting in any federal election.

In light of the recent Supreme Court ruling that the Federal Government has jurisdiction over Federal elections, We submit that it is the Federal Governments responsibility to ensure that Federal elections are not influenced by non-U.S. citizens casting votes, by requiring proof of citizenship in the United States while registering to vote. Furthermore there should be voter ID that is also a requirement in any Federal election further enhancing the legitimacy of any Federal vote.
