Guns laws only work for law abiding citizens.
Our goal should not be limiting freedoms that our great country has given to us but to come up with effective ways to combat tragedy and keep firearms out of the hands of criminals and prevent crimes committed with stolen firearms.
By requiring every gun owner to own a safe large enough to house their property and create law holding owners accountable for crimes committed with stolen firearms that have been left out of their locked safe. It should be emphasized that only the owner of the safe should have access inside the safe and would be held fully responsible for any firearms being misused.
Owners should be federally assisted in their gun safe purchases by a liberal amount in order to promote country wide safety as quickly as possible.
