Require a pschological test before the purchase of firearms.

The time has come for real regulations on gun purchases in America. Background checks simply not enough. In order to insure the safety of all Americans we need to be sure that anyone purchasing a weapon is mentally capable of owning a firearm. This is clearly not restricting the right to bear arms as anyone can still purchase a gun as long as they are clean criminally and stable mentally. Also, according to the Constitution, the government is supposed to "promote the general welfare" of the people. We urge you President Obama to create a mental check for gun purchases!
