In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting a lot of American's want stricter gun control. I do believe that in order to buy a firearm you must have a psychological evaluation to avoid potential atrocities like the ones witnessed on 12/14/2012 and the ones on 7/20/2012. But all this is useless without the proper facilities to treat and commit people who have these illnesses. I say instead of cutting back on mental health treatment the government should increase the spending and not substitute it with an assault weapons ban.
