Veterans sacrifice many opportunities by deciding to defend our nation. Our nation should pay back Veterans with the best opportunities to reintegrate into civilian life. Requiring public universities and colleges to charge GI Bill recipients in-state tuition regardless of residency or status (i.e. Active Duty, Reserve, Retired, etc) would remove the burden of rising tuition costs. Charging GI Bill recipients out-of-state tuition creates a financial burden for a veteran; this runs against the purpose of the GI Bill. If an athlete can get a full scholarship, so should all of our nations defenders.
STOP CHARGING GI BILL RECIPIENTS MORE FOR AN EDUCATION!
