The purpose of this petition is to require all gun owners to carry liability insurance on all firearm weapons registered to them. Liability coverage would include loss of human life, wrongful death, animal life except with a hunting license within legal bounds of hunting, intentional killing of a human or multiple killings of humans, nonintentional and accidental killing of humans, maiming and injuring humans or animals with the intent to kill or unintentional killing, and loss of public or private property due to firing a weapon. Criminal laws will not exclude liability coverage from a civil liability lawsuit. All sales of weapons must include proof of insurance before a gun registration may be issued. Gun show sales are not excluded from the requirement to obtain insurance.
