Require regular drug testing and job searching for welfare and housing recipients.

Created by J.C. on October 26, 2011

Individuals that receive Government assistance (i.e. food stamps, TANF, Housing Assistance, Section 8, Free Cellphones, Wellness cards) should be required to take drug tests on a regular basis. They should also be held to the same job searching regulations that unemployment recipients must abide by. There should also be a cap on how long you can receive assistance in a stretch. We need to start helping individuals to be able to support themselves and not to rely on the government and teach their children to do the same. We believe that EVEYBODY needs help sometimes, but they should not rely on the goverment to support them their entire lives. If they are physically capable of working then there is no reason why they should not be responsible for doing so.
