The United States should require reimbursement for foreign intervention.
If military intervention doesn't fuel national security then it results in unnecessary costs. Military actions should be supported by the people who have had to suffer higher tax rates.
The armed forces need a chance for success, and a loss in funds is not considered to be successful.
By paying almost one billion dollars to aid Libya, the United States sunk further into debt without even getting any direct benefit from the intervention.
Therefore, before agreeing to foreign intervention, the U.S. should assure that it will be reimbursed for its efforts.
