Require retail gasoline sales to drop the outdated and meaningless 9/10 of a cent from the price of gasoline.

Created by J.L. on September 20, 2014

The practice of listing gasoline down to the tenths of cents was established at a time when gasoline sold for pennies a gallon and was included in the pricing to give the consumer the impression that the price of gasoline was "carefully" determined to the tenth of a cent. While at some point that may have been true with today's prices jumping as much as fifty cents at a time it is ridiculous that it should be implied that it is carefully calculated to the tenth of a cent.

It's time to do away with this practice.
