The USS Pueblo (AGER-2), was boarded and captured by North Korean forces on 23 January 1968, while sailing in international waters. One crew member was killed, the others tortured and held prisoner for 11 months. The Pueblo was never returned to the US and has been displayed all these years as a trophy over which the N. Koreans gloat. The US has given tens of millions of dollars in aid over the decades to N. Korea but has nothing to show in return, except the contempt of a regime that despises us. STOP all talks, all discussions of assistance (humanitarian or otherwise) regardless of any other concessions promised until the USS Pueblo is returned to the US. The USS Pueblo is still a commissioned ship of the US Navy, and we must never leave our casualties on the battlefield.
