Require safety belts on school buses.

Created by J.C. on October 27, 2011

the National Coalition for School Bus Safety insists that lap belts are needed to increase student safety. As demonstrated in a report from the National Transportation Safety Board, the padded, high-back seats do not protect bus passengers in typical bus crashes because riders are tossed around away from their seat. Therefore, school buses should be outfitted with seat belts to protect more children from injury or death.
