Require school districts to share levy money with charter/community schools in their service area.

Created by S.N. on June 16, 2013

Community schools (also known as charter schools) often share the labor of meeting the education needs for a city or county. However, they are not typically entitled to any of the levy money that comes from the area they serve. To provide best for the students, districts and their neighbouring community schools ought to share some of the funding. Charters currently operate with approximately 60% of the funding accorded to public schools.
