There have been too many mass shootings, and with President Obama's statement that something must be done about these shootings, and that inaction is unacceptable, this is the perfect time to offer a solution.
Every public/private school must be staffed with at least one federal officer, state officer, or even national guard, who possess an assault rifle.
An officer/guard would be added per 700 students that attend the school. Example: A school with 600 students has 1 guard. a school with 700 has two, a school with 1400 has 3, etc.
These shootings have gone on for far too long. Please, let us do something about it.
