Require that schools receiving significant amounts of funding from military students provide support for those students.

Created by C.A. on February 08, 2013

Numerous public schools, especially high schools, receive federal funding for taking military students, despite the fact that more military members are paying taxes to support the schools. Therefore, some of the funding should be devoted to the military children themselves.
This is especially directed at high school students. Not only are these military children dealing with the typical stress of high school (grades, social issues, extracurriculars, etc.) but they have additional issues unique to the military (moving in the middle of high school, deployed parents, etc.). As these students provide funding, it seems proper that schools be required to provide support groups (which cost very little, if anything) and perhaps a counselor to aid with the additional stress placed on these student.
