A sitting Secretary of Education should prove him or herself fit to serve as an educational leader. We want to know that our educational leader is "college and career ready" and has the minimum skills we expect of the average 14 year old. The assessments should be administered by a stranger following all protocol established by the Secretary's home state. The Secretary may prepare him or herself using publicly available practice tests and item samplers. Results should be made public since we are all stakeholders. We trust that the Secretary will gladly prove his faith in the validity and efficacy of standardized testing.
