Many, many businesses, agencies, and non-profits require drug tests as a requirement of employment. In order to remain consistent, and to provide comfort to the United States tax payers, this same requirement should be met of any person receiving entitlements from local, state, or federal funds. This proposition would save the country millions of dollars, because those who test positive for illegal or illicit drigs would be automatically dropped from the program. If a person has funds to purchase drugs, then they have funds to purchase food, or other basic, life-sustaining necessities.
