Require Senate and Congress to put any raise for themselves before the American people.

The Senators and Congressmen and women can vote to raise their own salary. This usually comes in the form of a rider on a bill. However, this needs to stop. They need to have the people they work for vote on whether they get more money, not themselves. In other words, they need to have the American people vote on whether or not they get a raise. Or at the very least, the constituents of the particular senator or congressperson.
