Right now, the Senate Finance Committee has said that senators can propose which tax breaks they think should be retained without fear their views will be made public until Dec. 31, 2064.
They can make these proposals, no matter how beneficial to their own special interests, without fear that their consituency will found out. Secret government is NOT Democracy!
