Require that Senators and Representatives must not hold public office for two years between terms to limit campaigning.

Created by J.B. on October 25, 2013

Pass the following constitutional amendment:

"No Senator or Representative shall be elected to the office of the President or office within Congress until more than two years has passed from the end of their last term in office."

This amendment will limit the amount of campaigning that our senators and congressmen do while in office so they can focus more on governing our country. This will also lead to a greater variety of ideas within government because of greater turnover. It will also remove the advantage of the incumbent.
