Billions of federal monies are spent every year in the aftermath of storms. The most violent and most un predictable are tornado or high wind driven storms.
I petition to request that the federal government require any public or private school, being new construction, or replacement construction in high activity areas be equipped with a storm shelter.
That should house the average populous of the school plus 10%. Should have at least 72 hours of supplies, etc.
