Require Social Security at least return the face value of the Social Security taxes collected to each wage earner.

As dishonest as our system of taxation is, Social Security should at least function as efficiently as an old mattress stuffed with cash. Current plans for Social Security payments will not even return the face value of the taxes collected. A safety net that does not even return the funds collected over a lifetime is a hindrance to the security of elderly workers, not an aid. Simply returning the funds collected is not an entitlement, it is honest.
